How I Work With Both Tantra & Science

about me coaching passion tantra Aug 06, 2023

14 years ago I graduated with a Masters degree in Psychology. But instead of going the traditional route of becoming a psychologist I did something radically different.

Something that a lot of people did not understand at that time.

I decided to go live in the jungle of Asia to study Tantra. This can be described as an ancient science that is all about studying intimacy and sexual energy.

Going to a psychologist and talking about what is happening in your life can be helpful, but to be honest I also found that it was not as affective and transformative as what I truly wanted to offer people and devote my life to.

But I felt strongly that I wanted to go deeper and was dedicated to follow that intuitive calling.

So I went to both India and Thailand to learn everything about the mysterious world of Tantra. It was a life changing experience.

It turns out that I have discovered something very profound:

The combination of ancient Tantra with modern science is extremely potent.

This is a great example of the potential that can arise when the ancient and the modern come together.

In my current practice I love to combine modern psychology and neuroscience with ancient tantric practices that work with intimacy, pleasure and the body.

Because, in reality, most of us have busy jobs and a lot going on in their lives. Which does not allow us to go live in the jungle and spend hours doing tantric practices and meditate.

Combining neuroscience with ancient tantric practices is like using science and ancient wisdom together to help us understand our bodies and minds, and how they can work together to create a happier and healthier life.

First, let's talk about tantric practices. Tantra is an ancient spiritual tradition that comes from India, and it teaches us how to use our bodies, our breath, and our minds to connect with ourselves and others in a deep and meaningful way. Tantra recognizes that our bodies are special and can help us experience pleasure, intimacy, and even spiritual awakening.

Now, let's talk about neuroscience. Neuroscience is a type of science that studies how our brains work, and how our brains are connected to our bodies. Our brain is like a control center that helps us think, feel, and experience the world around us. Neuroscience helps us understand how our brain and body are connected, and how they can influence each other.

By understanding how tantric practices affect our brain and body, we can use them to feel more relaxed, connected, and joyful. We can also learn how to use our breath, our body, and our mind in ways that support our well-being and help us live a more fulfilling life.

Most people have gotten zero education about this topic. They might have had some glimpses of what is possible but even this is just the very tip of the iceberg.

It’s my pleasure to spread the word about Tantra, how it combines with modern psychology and science and the ways it can benefit your life in a very practical way.
