Do you get caught up in your head in the bedroom? 

Great intimacy does not come from the mind. Being a logical, analytical person can bring success in work but it is not where you want to be in the bedroom. 

Getting out of our head leads to enjoy better connections, more presence and more pleasure. For deep intimacy and pleasure to happen, it is so important to learn how you can get into your body. 

However, the reality for most people is that they have a hard time getting out of their head. Especially when life is busy: there’s stress, busy jobs and maybe even kids. I hear this all the time from people that I work with. Stress is the number 1 thing that can get in the way of intimacy. So it’s important to know how to navigate this. Getting back in your body is a powerful tool for this.  

When you are able to be more in your body, you will also start to radiate a natural sense of confidence. Think of animals, they are naturally confident & present. It’s because they are deeply embodied. When they experience stress, they know shake it off and keep going. As human beings, have lost touch with these skills and ways of being.

In Tantra, there’s many ways to get out of the head and back into the body. Instead of living from the head up, you can learn how to activate your body. To me it felt like coming home to myself. Before discovering Tantra I didn’t know how to open, how to feel. I was stuck performing. I thought everything has to go along through a certain script. I didn’t really know how to ask for what I needed or what I was feeling. I felt trapped in my head. 

When I found a space where I found safe enough to be open and be seen everything changed. And it required presence and love with myself and from others. 

Something I want you to know is that just talking about what is holding you back doesn’t bring real transformation. Positive thinking on itself won’t change you. Please, get out of your mind, it’s not your thoughts that need your attention, it’s your nervous system and your body is the gateway to what you want. To have real change, you have to work with your nervous system and create new neural-pathways in your brain. 

Tantra and working with your sexual energy in order to change has been the most powerful method I’ve found for rewriting the brain and creating transformation in your life. Especially when times are busy and stressful. That’s why I am so in love with what I do. 

This is the reason why I left my career as a psychologist and decided to dive a level deeper and integrate Tantra in my work.
